Fasting in Islam
Fasting in Islam means refrain from eating and drinking, and from all acts that may invalidate fasting from dawn terbit hinggalah sun go down, to increase the piety of a Muslim. Command difirmankan fasting by Allah on Al-Quran surat Al-Baqarah verse 183.
Fasting is one of the five Rukun Islam. There is fasting must fast and Sunna, but the procedure is still the same.
Fasting is forbidden within the time in which Muslims are forbidden to fast. Wisdom is fasting when all people see, that someone needs to celebrate occasions together.
* Hari Raya Idul Fitri (1 Syawal)
* Hari Raya Idul Adha (10 Zulhijjah)
* Day-to-day Tasyrik (11, 12, and 13 Zulhijjah)
Command in the Al-Quran
God's command to fast in the Al-Qur'an in surat Al-Baqarah verse 183.
"Yaa ayyuhaladziina aamanuu kutiba alaikumus siyaamu kamaa kutiba 'alalladziina min qablikum la allakum tataquun"
"O those who believe, have been obliged to fast for you as has been required up to the people before you, I hope you become the people who bertaqwa."
Hikmah Puasa
Worship shaum Ramadan is required of God to worship every Mu'min is intended for menghamba to God as it appears in QS. Al-Baqarah / 2: 183. Wisdom of worship shaum itself is to train people in a living patient. The purpose of the patient within the al-Quran is the 'persistent and ulet' as referred to in the QS. Ali 'Imran / 3: 146.
In Summary
Fasting is not refrain from talking bamyak, not much to see, not many eating and drinking, not much sleep. and fasting is also a place of worship where people do goodness in every lipak double reward.

* Fasting is compulsory legal
o Fasting Ramadan
o Fasting as votive
o Fasting kifarat or fine
* Fasting is legal sunah
o Fasting 6 days in Syawal
Fasting o `Arafah
o Fasting Monday-Thursday
o Fasting of David (one day fasting, not a day)
o Fasting Asyura (in the sacred month)
Terms mandatory fasting:
1. Islamite
2. Robust
3. Baligh (enough age)
4. Able to implement
5. People are in place (not being Safar)
Terms legitimate fasting:
1. Islam (not perverted)
2. Mummayiz (can distinguish the good and the bad)
3. Holy of menstruation and childbed
4. Knowing the acceptance of fasting
Rukun fasting:
1. Intention
2. Leave all the things that invalidate fasting from dawn to set up the sun
